pineapple mojito recipe
Ingredients:
2 ounces of Pineapple Lime Lemongrass Mixer
1.5 ounces of White Rum (we recommend Ko Hana Kea Rum)
8-10 fresh mint leaves
4 ounces of club soda
Crushed ice
Lime wedges and fresh mint sprigs for garnish
Instructions:
1. Take a highball glass and add the fresh mint leaves along with the mixer.
2. Gently muddle the mint and sugar together using a muddler or the back of a spoon. Be careful not to tear the mint leaves.
3. Add the white rum to the glass and give it a quick stir to combine the ingredients.
5. Fill the glass about three-quarters full with crushed ice.
6. Pour the club soda over the ice, slowly stirring as you pour to combine the ingredients evenly.
7. Garnish the mojito with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Tips:
Adjust the amount of mixer according to your taste preferences. Some prefer a sweeter drink, while others may prefer a more tart flavor.
If you don't have a muddler, you can use the back of a spoon or a wooden spoon to gently crush the mint leaves and mixer together.
Crushed ice is ideal for a mojito, as it chills the drink quickly and dilutes it slightly. If you don't have crushed ice, you can make your own by placing ice cubes in a clean towel and crushing them with a rolling pin or mallet.
Mojitos are best enjoyed fresh and cold, so try to serve them immediately to preserve the flavors and effervescence of the club soda.
Cheers to a refreshing and delicious mojito!
